Here is one of the final printed grids as it appeared at the Kinetica Art Fair. I had a fantastic response from the public (over 10000 visitors) and would like to thank the staff at the fair for all their support as well as Raymond Stanley for getting me on the show. Byteswerk made it into the top attractions of the fair on the Fadwebsite and Spoonfed culture news websites.
Cinemetrics is about measuring and visualizing movie data, in order to reveal the characteristics of films and to create a visual “fingerprint” for them.
“The obliteration room” is both a visual treat and a cool interactive piece of art installation. Visitors to the Children’s Art Centre at Queensland Art Gallery in Australia are handed coloured stickers as they enter one part of Yayoi Kusama’s current show and invited to “obliterate” a previously pristine white room.

I have just discovered this installation by Peter Wegner using coloured split flaps, this is basically the kind of display I originally had in mind for Byteswerk. Fantastic work. Now I will have to come up with something else for future versions of my set up. Thanks Peter!
